May. 2nd, 2006 07:41 pmIt was a pretty quiet evening last night. The light has gone off in my kitchen, it's one of those long flourescent tube lights, so my Dad is coming around tomorrow evening to fix in a new one. I still have not heard anything back frm anyone that I have contacted from the speed-dating thing. I also watched an episode of the old 1960s "Outer Limits" series on DVD. It was quite a good one.
Today has mostly been very quiet. Work as fairly uneventful. My friend Malcolm is having a birthday party on Thursday night, and I'm invited, I'd like to go, but it will probably mean another Friday off work! When you go to a party, you want to be able to enjoy yourself without worrying about being ready for work the next day.
