I was back to working at home. I don't know when I'll be back in the office next. They are trying "hybrid working" where we can work at home, or book a desk in the office for a day. It's something that they've been talking about for years, long before the pandemic.

I listened to The Retrospectors, Office Ladies, Like Minded Friends, Stuff You Should Know about a riot that erupted at baseball game in the 1970s due in part to beer being sold for 10 cents, Myths and Legends and British Scandal about the 2015 Hatton Garden Heist, where a gang of elderly crooks stole £14 million in gold and jewels.

I watched a couple of episodes of a 1983 TV adaptation of Jane Eyre, which starred Zelah Clarke as Jane and Timothy Dalton as Rochester. It's a very good adaptation and very faithful to the book.

I've been pretty quiet on here recently, although it's mostly because things have been pretty quiet.

I've been watching the TV series Castle Rock which is really good.

I've had a few days off work. I watched the movie Bringing Out the Dead, directed by Martin Scorsese, which stars Nicolas Cage as a burned out paramedic. it's very bleak, but very good.

On Saturday I went out for coffee with my friend Claire, which was really nice. On Sunday I went to a concert by The Unthanks which was really great.

The other day I went out and bought. couple of journals. Yesterday I bought some DVDs: Castle Rock seasons one and two, The Outsider and a TV adaptation of Jane Eyre.

Yesterday I finished reading The Aleph by Jorge Luis Borges, which was a collection of strange fantasy stories, vignettes and essays. It was very good, and very clever.

I went out and saw Everything Everywhere All at Once, which I really loved. It is such a wild and entertaining film.

I also watched the final episode of Derry Girls. I will really miss that show.

On Tuesday evening I watched the final episode of Life after Life which was a really great show. I also saw Derry Girls, which is probably my favourite comedy on TV right now.

Yesterday I went to see Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which I enjoyed. It wasn't great, but I thought it was fun.
