The speed dating last night was quite good. I haven't had anyone select me yet though, although so far only five out of the fifteen women that attended have selected who they're interested in, so there's still time.

I had the day off work today, because I wanted to get something for Malcolm's girlfriend's party. I ended up buying a bottle of wine. It meant no Amy today though. I know I should talk to her, but it is difficult, because there are always so many people around in the office and although we work in the same room we're not really in the same sections, so I don't really have much contact with her on a work basis either. I don't really know what to do, actually.

I was watching the film "Basquiat" last night about the artist Jean-Michel Basquiat, who started out as a graffiti artist in New York in the early 80s before becoming very famous and befriending Andy Warhol. It was a good film, and an interesting look at the New York art scene in the 1980s.

It's the party tonight so that should be interesting.

I would give her the poem, tell her very quickly that you wrote it for her, and you'd like her to look it over, and tell her to let you know what she thinks. Then, walk away. That way, no one else needs to hear the two of you talk. Hopefully, she'll set up an after work get together for the two of you.
