Oct. 29th, 2006 05:51 pmI carved a pumpkin into a lantern last night, and it actually came out quite well, surprisingly. I also watched Halloween: Resurrection, directed by Rick Rosenthal. It's the seventh sequel to the original Halloween from John Carpenter. The film opens with series regular Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis), who has been in a psychiatric hospital for the past three years, being murdered by her serial killing brother Michael Myers (Brad Loree). In the small town of Haddonfield, Illinois, six university students are selected by a company called "Dangertainment" to participate in a "reality show", to be broadcast live over the internet, in which they will have to spend Halloween in Michael Myers' childhood home. Of course, it's not long before Myers himself pays a visit. It's basically just a typical slasher movie sequel, and not a very good one, with a masked killer wandering around a dark house hacking his way through a forgettable cast.
I went to my parent's house for lunch this afternoon as usual. We had burritos today, which were nice.
The clocks went back an hour last night, which means that it gets dark so early. You kind of get used to it in a few days but at first it always feels much later than it actually is.
