Today was a fairly eventful day at work because over the weekend I and most of my department are being moved up the stairs to another room. The move has been planned for months and has certainly been very controversial. A lot of people don't want to move from our current room.

After work I went out with my friend Joe. We got talking to a French girl and she joined us in our trip to a couple of different bars (although she was far more interested in Joe than me). We met up with a bunch of Joe's friends and his brother, although his friends didn't stay long.

I walked home alone. When I got on the internet I found a message from my friend Michele, who I met a couple of weeks ago. We're hopefully meeting up again on Wednesday to go to the movies to see Volver.

Today has been fairly quiet so far. I was watching. or rather half watching, the 1932 film of The Mummy which stars Boris Karloff as a resurrected Egyptian mummy.

Next week at work I start on a training course called "Realising Our Future". It's just a one day a week thing, but it's held in a hotel which means that I'll get a nice short day and free lunch!
