I was watching a film on television last night caleld "The Hole". It starred Thora Birch as a student of an English bording school, who decides to play truant with a few friends for a weekend, in an abandoned military bunker, however it all turns sour when they find themselves locked in. Eighteen days later, of course, only Thora Birch emerges. The movie basically involves her being interviewed by a police psychologist in order to find out exactly what happened, with the events in the bunker being related in flashback. It's not bad, but not really good either. Keira Knightley appears in a small part.

Before I left for work this morning, the guy who lives in the flat directly straight beneath mine came to the door to say that he could hear dripping noises which he thoguth were coming from my bathroom. I checked and the bathroom was perfectly normal. Anyway, when I got back to work he called again to say that the noise was still continuing, and I went to his flat and I could certainly hear it clearly. He thinks it's a burst pipe, but I don't know what it is. My dad is coming this evening to investigate. What I hope it that it won't be a big problem, but I don't know. He was very pleasant about it all, and told me that he had had a problem with leaks from upstairs long before I moved in.

I don't know if I'll be on-line tomorrow because I was planning to go to the cinema with my mum to see "Tsotsi".

I just hope that the plumbing problem is soon sorted out.
