Mar. 8th, 2006 07:16 pmAnother pretty quiet day at work. Surprisingly the video of "Clerks" that I put out in the office charity sale has yet to be sold. I was surprised becasue I thought that that would have been sold quite quickly, because it's quite a popular "cult" film. Maybe the people who might interested in it already have it.
I have been moved permanently into the new department, which I am fairly happy about. I'll have to move my stuff from my previous room. I'll do it on Friday afternoon when it's quiet. Usually on Fridays the office is deserted by lunchtime.
Tomorrow it's the next to last class in the Alfred Hitchcock night course, so that means I probably won't be on again until Friday. Tomorrow we will be discussing "Psycho", the immortal classic. I once heard that an artist made an installation piece called "24 Hour Psycho", which basically involved slowing the film down so it lasted twenty four hours. There was also the Gus Van Sant remake from 1998, which is basically a shot-by-shot remake except in colour. According to Van Sant, it was to introduce the film to people who don't like black-and-white movies.
